Are your colored gemstones natural or lab-created?
Signora's colored gemstones are lab-created — the same crystal structure, color, and hardness as their mined counterparts, grown in controlled conditions. Where a design pairs a colored stone with a diamond, that diamond is lab-grown, with IGI certification on center stones.
Can I wear a gemstone ring every day?
It depends on the stone. Sapphire and ruby are hard enough for daily hands; emerald and opal prefer gentler outings or a home in earrings and pendants. Check the stone's entry in the gemstone encyclopedia before making it your everyday ring.
How do I care for colored gemstone jewelry?
Warm water, a drop of mild soap, and a soft brush suit the durable stones; never put emerald or opal in an ultrasonic cleaner. Store colored pieces apart so harder stones cannot scratch softer ones — the jewelry care and repairs guide goes stone by stone.
How long does a gemstone piece take to arrive?
Every gemstone piece is made to order, so count on around 14 days from order to delivery. Duties and taxes are prepaid for the US, UK, and Canada, and free insured express shipping applies over $500.
What is your return policy on gemstone jewelry?
Standard designs have a 30-day return and exchange window, with return shipping covered by Signora for the US, UK, and Canada. Fully custom commissions — including bespoke colorways — are final sale.

Care & Composition
Every Signora piece is made to order in solid precious metal — never plated, never filled. Choose solid 925 sterling silver, gold in yellow, white, or rose (9K, 14K, or 18K), or platinum (Pt950). Our white gold is palladium-based, nickel-free, and rhodium-finished for a bright, lasting white. Center stones are IGI-certified lab-grown diamonds or GRA-certified moissanite. Natural diamonds are available by special request only.
Each piece is hand-finished in our family workshop in Surat, where we've worked in the diamond trade since 2006. White gold is rhodium-finished for a crisp, reflective surface; yellow and rose gold are polished to their natural warmth; platinum wears a soft patina over time that many collectors prize. Because every order is crafted individually, subtle variation in finish is the signature of handwork, not a flaw.
Wipe your piece gently with a soft, lint-free cloth after wearing. Store it separately in the pouch or box it arrives in to avoid scratches. Remove jewelry before swimming, showering, exercising, or applying lotions, perfumes, or cleaning products. Have it professionally cleaned by a local jeweler once or twice a year, and avoid ultrasonic cleaners, which can loosen settings over time.
