A Texas story

The Star Texas Carves Into Its Stones

In 1969, Texas named blue topaz its state gem — a stone found naturally in just one county, Mason, deep in the Hill Country. Then it did something no other state has done: in 1977, it made a cut official. The Lone Star Cut carves a five-pointed star into the stone's pavilion, so the star rises up through the face. Texas honored not only the stone, but the hand that shaped it.

A stone is found. A star is made — by the patience of the cutter.

We understood that choice. Our family has run a diamond polishing unit in Surat since 2006 — the city where roughly ninety percent of the world's diamonds are cut and polished. Himmat, Signora's founder, is the third generation of his family in the trade; he joined at nineteen. When your ring leaves our workshop for Texas — made to order, around fourteen days door to door, duties and taxes prepaid — it carries what Texas chose to honor: the cut.

From the wheels of Surat to the only state that made a cut official.

Duty-paid delivery to Texas

Your ring ships to Texas fully duty-paid (DDP). All import duties and customs charges are calculated and paid by us before dispatch, so there is nothing to pay at your door — no surprise fees, no customs paperwork, no courier holding your ring hostage. Crafting takes about 7 business days in our Surat workshop, followed by roughly 7 days of insured, tracked transit to any Texas address. That's around two weeks from order to knock on the door. Shipping is free on orders over $500 — which covers nearly every engagement ring we make. Every lab grown diamond arrives with its IGI certificate, and every moissanite with its GRA certificate.

Getting your ring size right in Texas

Because every Signora ring is made to order to your exact size, we can't resize it after delivery — so getting the size right up front matters. The easiest route: walk into any trusted local jeweler in Texas and ask to be measured. It takes two minutes and virtually every jeweler does it free. Prefer to sort it from your couch? Book a free 20–30 minute consultation at calendly.com/signorajewels and we'll walk you through sizing discreetly — useful if the proposal is still a secret. And if something isn't right, standard designs carry a 30-day return window, with return shipping covered by us. Fully custom pieces are made to your specification and are non-returnable. And every ring is backed for a lifetime.

Beyond the engagement ring

Lab Grown Diamond Jewelry, Delivered Across Texas

The Engagement Gallery is where most Texas stories begin — but it isn’t where our workshop stops. The same cutters and setters make lab grown diamond rings for every occasion, wedding bands for him and her, diamond tennis bracelets, necklaces and pendant sets, solid gold chains, and lab grown diamond earrings — each made to order in solid 9K, 14K, or 18K gold or platinum, never plated.

Whether you’re searching for lab grown diamonds in Texas for a proposal, a moissanite solitaire on a sensible budget, or colored gemstone jewelry that doesn’t follow the crowd, the promise stays the same: IGI- and GRA-certified stones, about two weeks door to door, and nothing owed at delivery — in Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, Austin, Fort Worth, El Paso, and every town between.

Engagement Ring FAQs — Texas

How long does delivery to Texas take?

About 7 business days to craft your ring in our workshop, then roughly 7 days of insured transit to your Texas address — around two weeks in total. Fully custom designs take a little longer.

Will I pay customs or import duty in Texas?

No. We ship duty-paid (DDP) to the entire United States. Duties are settled by us before your ring leaves the workshop, so the price you see at checkout is the final price. You owe nothing at delivery.

Can I return a ring from Texas?

Yes — standard designs can be returned within 30 days, and we cover the return shipping. Fully custom, made-to-spec pieces are non-returnable.

Are the diamonds certified?

Every lab grown diamond is IGI-certified and every moissanite is GRA-certified. The certificate ships with your ring.

What metals can I choose?

Sterling silver 925; yellow, white, and rose gold in 9K, 14K, and 18K; and platinum Pt950. Solid metal only — never plated or vermeil. Our white gold is palladium-based, nickel-free, and rhodium-finished, making it a strong choice for sensitive skin.

Do you deliver jewelry other than engagement rings to Texas?

Yes — wedding bands, tennis bracelets, necklaces, pendants, chains, and earrings all ship to Texas the same way: made to order in Surat, delivered duty-paid in about two weeks, with IGI certificates for lab grown diamonds and GRA certificates for moissanite.

Style notes

Engagement Ring Styles in Texas

Dallas · Hill Country

Bold, big-sky solitaires

Oval and elongated cushion solitaires that carry presence across a table, set high in 14K or 18K yellow gold — a look that photographs beautifully against a big sky.

Austin · Dallas

The hidden halo moment

Hidden halos are quietly everywhere right now — adding sparkle from the side profile without touching the clean silhouette.

San Antonio · Fort Worth

Classics, done properly

For the traditionalists, a classic round brilliant in platinum never needed a trend to justify it.

Whatever the style, a lab grown stone means going a full carat — or two — bigger for the same budget. That, too, is very Texas.
