Until 1773, a Birmingham jeweller had to send finished silver to London or Chester to be assayed — weeks of delay, and a rival’s town mark on their own work. Matthew Boulton took the grievance to Parliament, and the Assay Office Act of that year gave Birmingham an office of its own. Its town mark, chosen at the founding for a city nowhere near the sea, was an anchor.

That instinct is familiar to us. Himmat Mangukiya, our founder, is the third generation of a Surat family in the diamond trade — he joined at nineteen, in the city that cuts and polishes the overwhelming majority of the world’s diamonds. Our UK client-care team works from the West Midlands, the same county as that Jewellery Quarter; a coincidence, but a pleasing one. Every piece is made to order and reaches Britain in about fourteen days, duties already paid.

Will I pay customs, duty or import VAT?
No. We ship duty-paid (DDP) to the United Kingdom. Duties and UK import taxes are settled by us before your order leaves the workshop, so the price at checkout is the final price. The courier will not ask you for anything at the door.
What currency will I be charged in?
Checkout is in US dollars. You can switch the site to pounds to see an approximate price, but the amount charged is the USD figure — your bank converts it at their rate. Free express shipping applies over $500.
Can I return my ring?
Yes — standard designs can be returned within 30 days, and we cover the return shipping and duties. Fully custom, made-to-spec pieces are non-returnable.
Are the diamonds certified?
Every lab grown diamond is IGI-certified and every moissanite is GRA-certified. The certificate ships with your piece.
What metals can I choose?
Sterling silver 925; yellow, white, and rose gold in 9K, 14K, and 18K; and platinum Pt950. Solid metal only — never plated or vermeil. Our white gold is palladium-based, nickel-free, and rhodium-finished, making it a strong choice for sensitive skin.
What if the size is wrong?
Order with our sizing guidance, or ask on a consultation call first — we’d rather get it right the first time. Because all manufacturing is in Surat, we can’t resize after delivery; a trusted local jeweller can handle sizing quickly and inexpensively. Read the ring resizing guide.
