An Asscher cut lab grown diamond compass engagement ring from Signora Jewels.
An approximately 3.00 ct Asscher cut diamond measuring 8.00 × 8.00 mm is secured in a compass four-prong cathedral basket with an open gallery.
Made to order in 11 metals: Silver, 9K/14K/18K Gold (Yellow, White and Rose) and Platinum.
Each metal color is shown in the photos. Choose your preferred center diamond weight and metal from the options on this page.
The Asscher cut is displayed on its points in a compass setting, giving the square outline a striking diamond-shaped presentation. At Signora Jewels, four compass-positioned prongs secure the center while the cathedral basket lifts it above the shank, allowing the stepped pavilion to catch light through the open gallery.
The approximately 2.10 mm comfort-fit shank tapers gently into the cathedral shoulders, creating a balanced profile beneath the bold 3.00 ct center. The approximately 7.80 mm setting height gives the Asscher cut the elevation it needs while maintaining a clean and refined silhouette for everyday wear.

Design highlights
The compass orientation transforms the traditional square Asscher into a bold geometric focal point. Broad step facets create mirror-like reflections while the cathedral basket keeps the profile open and allows light to reach the pavilion from below.

Measurements are approximate. Your selected center diamond weight determines the final proportions of the finished ring.
The Asscher cut is celebrated for its concentric step facets and deep hall-of-mirrors effect. Every center diamond is F color, VS1 clarity and , selected to complement the proportions of this compass cathedral design.
Available in Silver, 9K, 14K and 18K Yellow, White and Rose Gold, plus Platinum. Clean beneath the open basket using warm water, mild soap and a soft brush to maintain the brilliance of the stepped facets. Inspect the compass prongs periodically to ensure the center remains securely held.
Why is the Asscher cut set in a compass orientation?
The compass setting rotates the square diamond onto its points, creating a distinctive geometric appearance while emphasizing the symmetry of the Asscher cut.
What does the cathedral basket add to the design?
The cathedral shoulders support the basket from below while raising the center into stronger light. This creates an open side profile and improves access for cleaning.
Can this ring be worn with a wedding band?
Yes. The raised cathedral basket allows many straight wedding bands to sit close, while contoured bands can follow the profile more precisely.
Which metal color best suits an Asscher cut?
White gold and platinum emphasize the crisp step-cut geometry, while yellow and rose gold create warm contrast around the square center diamond.

Standard listed pieces are made to order with an estimated dispatch of 7 business days. Use the product-page estimate when it is more specific and the timing confirmed after ordering. Delivery timing begins after dispatch and varies by destination and carrier service. Fully custom commissions follow the production schedule confirmed with their approved specifications or CAD.
The configured free-shipping reference is orders over $500 USD. Eligibility, any currency equivalent, the available service and the final shipping charge are determined by the cart and Shopify checkout for your destination and order total before payment.
Duties and applicable import taxes are prepaid by Signora for deliveries to the US, UK and Canada. You should not be asked to pay them again on delivery.
Every finished Signora jewelry product includes a Signora Jewelry Certificate. Any independent stone report included with the selected configuration is shown in the product details and order record.
Standard listed products are eligible for return within 30 days of delivery when unworn, unused and in their original condition, with the original packaging and included documents. Normal listed choices such as metal, stone carat, chain or bracelet length, an extended ring size, or complimentary engraving do not by themselves make an item Final Sale. A sale or discount also does not imply Final Sale; only an item explicitly classified as Final Sale follows the non-returnable exclusion.
A fully custom commission is different from a listed made-to-order design. After its specifications or CAD are approved, a normal change-of-mind return does not apply. Manufacturing defects are still handled, and Signora will review any exceptional circumstances with the customer.
