Signora Jewels sets the 14.25 × 7.06 mm Dutch marquise above an engraved engagement ring shank with fine milgrain-style borders. Six geometric prongs secure the pointed center, while the band carries carved vintage detailing instead of side diamonds.
The reference center rises approximately 7.5–8.0 mm. At the base, the shank measures about 2.20 mm wide and 1.50 mm thick, giving the lower band enough substance to balance the long 3.00 ct center without adding extra stones.
Design highlights
The shank does the decorative work here. Engraved forms run between fine raised borders, so the band catches shadow without competing with the long center. From above, the Dutch marquise remains completely uninterrupted from tip to tip.

Measurements are approximate; your selected center weight sets the final diamond dimensions and total weight.
The 14.25 mm Dutch marquise stretches its visual weight along the finger, with pointed ends and angular shoulders giving it a sharper outline than a conventional marquise. Read more about elongated shapes and proportions in the diamond stone guide.
Yellow and rose gold make the engraved pattern and milgrain borders easier to read, while white gold and platinum put more emphasis on the center diamond. Compare choices in the metal guide. Clean beneath the open basket and inside the engraved recesses with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush.
Does this Dutch marquise ring have any side diamonds?
No. The 3.00 ct reference center is the only diamond; all decoration along the band comes from engraved metalwork and milgrain-style edging.
How are the pointed ends of the Dutch marquise protected?
The center is secured by a Six-Prong basket with support at both pointed ends and along the sides. The prongs protect the exposed tips while keeping the elongated outline visible.
How high does the 3.00 ct reference center sit?
The setting rises approximately 7.5–8.0 mm. The open basket leaves visible space beneath the center and keeps the long stone clear of the engraved shoulders.
What makes the band look vintage?
The shank uses carved decorative detailing bordered by fine milgrain-style edges. Because there are no side diamonds, those engraved surfaces provide the texture around the center.
How should the engraved shank be cleaned?
Use a soft brush across the recessed engraving and underneath the open basket. Those small carved spaces hold more residue than the polished lower portion of the band.
