A Dutch marquise lab grown diamond solitaire engagement ring from Signora Jewels.
A 2.00 ct, 12.47 × 6.00 mm Dutch marquise center sits in a Six-Prong Solitaire with a geometric open gallery. No accent diamonds. Approx. 2.00 ct total.
Made to order in 11 metals: silver, 10K/14K/18K gold (yellow, white, rose) and platinum.
Each metal color is shown in the photos. Choose your center size and metal in the options on this page.
Signora Jewels sets the Dutch marquise vertically so the full 12.47 mm length reads clearly across the finger. Six prongs secure the pointed ends and sides, while the open geometric gallery keeps metal away from the center of the stone. This engagement ring uses no accent diamonds, so every flash comes from the single elongated center.
The shank stays around 1.80 mm wide and 1.80 mm thick at the bottom, then carries engraved floral and scroll-like relief across the upper band. The center rises approximately 6.5–7.0 mm, giving the Dutch marquise enough clearance for its long outline to remain visible above the engraved shoulders.
Design highlights
The engraving does the work that side stones usually do. Small floral and scroll forms run across the upper shank, giving the band texture without competing with the center. Against that detailed metalwork, the long Dutch marquise stays clean and dominant from the top view.

Measurements are approximate; your chosen center size sets the final diamond weight.
A Dutch marquise stretches its visual weight along the finger, with a sharper geometric outline through the shoulders than a standard marquise. At 12.47 mm long in the photographed ring, the shape has enough length for that profile to read immediately. See the diamond stone guide for more on shape and proportions.
Yellow and rose gold make the engraved band pattern easier to distinguish, while white gold and platinum keep the prongs visually closer to the center diamond. Compare the metals in the metal guide. Use warm water, mild soap and a soft brush around the open gallery and engraved recesses, where residue collects faster than on the plain lower shank.
How is the pointed Dutch marquise protected?
The center is held by six prongs, including support at both pointed ends. That protects the most exposed parts of the 12.47 mm elongated outline while leaving the sides open to view.
Does this ring have any side diamonds?
No. The Dutch marquise center is the only diamond in the design, and the decoration along the shoulders comes from engraved metalwork.
What makes the band different from a plain solitaire?
The upper shank carries floral and scroll-like engraved relief instead of pavé. That gives the shoulders visible texture without adding extra stones around the 2.00 ct center.
How high does the center sit?
The setting rises approximately 6.5–7.0 mm. The open gallery lifts the elongated center above the engraved shoulders and leaves the underside accessible for cleaning.
Which metal shows the engraving most clearly?
Yellow and rose gold create stronger shadow and contrast inside the engraved details. White gold and platinum make the band read brighter and closer in tone to the diamond.
