A Dutch marquise lab grown diamond cathedral engagement ring from Signora Jewels.

A 1.00 ct reference center measuring approximately 10.50 × 5.40 mm, secured in a four-prong cathedral setting with no accent diamonds. Approx. 1.00 ct total.

Made to order in 11 metals: silver, 9K/14K/18K gold (yellow, white, rose) and platinum.

Each metal color is shown in the photos. Choose your center weight and metal from the options on this page.

Signora Jewels built this ring around the long 10.50 × 5.40 mm outline of a Dutch marquise center. Four prongs hold the stone at its corners while cathedral shoulders rise from the shank to meet the setting, keeping the diamond clear of the engraved band.

The lower half measures about 2.10 mm wide and 1.80 mm thick. Across the shoulders, the metal opens into a repeating ocean-wave pattern edged with milgrain, so the detail reads from the side without crowding the diamond from above.

Design highlights

  • Dutch marquise center measuring approximately 10.50 × 5.40 mm at 1.00 ct
  • Customizable center weights from 1 to 4.5 ct
  • Four-prong cathedral setting with open side views
  • Ocean-wave shoulder pattern cut into both sides of the shank
  • Milgrain engraving tracing the raised band details
  • Made to order in 11 metal and color combinations

The wave pattern is the part you notice after the diamond. From the top, this reads as a clean solitaire; turn the hand and the engraved shoulders appear beneath the raised center. About Lab Grown Diamonds

The Dutch marquise cut carries its length through a narrow 10.50 × 5.40 mm outline at the reference weight. Its broad center and tapered ends draw light along the stone rather than concentrating it in a round pattern. Each center is selected in F color and VS1 clarity.

Metal, Care & Fit

Yellow gold makes the milgrain and wave cuts easiest to read, while white gold and platinum keep the center and setting visually continuous. Rose gold adds contrast around the diamond. Clean beneath the raised center with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush, then check the four prongs after any hard impact.

FAQ

How high does the Dutch marquise center sit?
The reference setting is approximately 6.80 mm high. Cathedral shoulders support the raised head from both sides, leaving space beneath the diamond for cleaning and light.

Will the pointed ends of the center catch on clothing?
Four corner prongs secure the tapered ends of the Dutch marquise. The points remain more exposed than they would in a bezel, so avoid dragging the ring through knitted fabric.

Can this ring be worn beside a wedding band?
The cathedral shoulders rise toward the center while the lower shank remains about 2.10 mm wide. A straight band can sit alongside it, though the raised ocean-wave shoulders can leave a narrow visual gap near the setting.

What happens to the wave pattern with a larger center?
The ocean-wave and milgrain shank remain the defining band details. The center setting scales to hold the selected diamond weight while preserving the engraved shoulder treatment.

Which metal makes the milgrain easiest to see?
Yellow and rose gold create the strongest shadow around the milgrain edges. White gold and platinum give the ring a more continuous tone from the shank into the four-prong setting.

Answers last updated August 2, 2026

When will my order ship?

Standard listed pieces are made to order with an estimated dispatch of 7 business days. Use the product-page estimate when it is more specific and the timing confirmed after ordering. Delivery timing begins after dispatch and varies by destination and carrier service. Fully custom commissions follow the production schedule confirmed with their approved specifications or CAD.

When is insured worldwide delivery free?

Orders of US$500 or more receive free express, insured and tracked worldwide delivery. Below US$500, express, insured and tracked worldwide delivery is charged at the fixed rate shown at checkout.

Will I have to pay import duties?

For every destination available at checkout, Signora prepays applicable import duties and import taxes. Customers should not be asked to pay those import charges again on delivery.

What certificate comes with my jewelry?

Every finished piece includes a Signora Jewelry Certificate. Each selected individual lab-grown center or primary diamond of 0.50 ct or above includes an IGI grading report. Below 0.50 ct, IGI can be arranged by custom request. Custom moissanite and gemstone selections include GRA documentation, with the exact scope confirmed in the approved specifications. The product page or approved specifications state the exact laboratory, report type and scope.

Can I return a made-to-order listed design?

Standard listed products are eligible for return within 30 days after carrier-recorded delivery when unworn, unused and in their original condition, with the original packaging and included documents. Normal listed choices such as metal, stone carat, chain or bracelet length, an extended ring size, or complimentary engraving do not by themselves make an item Final Sale. A sale or discount also does not imply Final Sale; only an item explicitly classified as Final Sale follows the non-returnable exclusion.

How are fully custom orders handled?

A fully custom commission is different from a listed made-to-order design. After its specifications or CAD are approved, a normal change-of-mind return does not apply. Manufacturing defects remain reviewable. Signora may accept an exceptional non-defect return case by case; documented labor and genuinely non-recoverable costs may be deducted, but these deductions are not a restocking fee.
