A Dutch marquise lab grown diamond engagement ring from Signora Jewels.
An 11.87 × 5.79 mm Dutch marquise center at approx. 1.70 ct sits in an elevated Six-Prong setting, with marquise and round side diamonds totaling approx. 0.16 ct. Approx. 1.86 ct total.
Made to order in 11 metals: silver, 10K/14K/18K gold (yellow, white, rose) and platinum.
Each metal color is shown in the photos. Choose your center size and metal in the options on this page.
Signora Jewels sets the long Dutch marquise center vertically, with its pointed ends secured above and below and an open gallery visible underneath. At 11.87 × 5.79 mm in the photographed ring, the center carries most of the visual length while the engagement ring shoulders branch outward into small marquise-and-round leaf clusters.
The center rises roughly 6.0–6.5 mm, leaving the side structure open rather than packing metal beneath the stone. A slim lower shank, about 1.60 mm wide and 1.40 mm thick, keeps the ring visually light while the shoulder clusters spread wider near the center.
Design highlights
The Dutch marquise outline is what separates this ring from a standard marquise. Its long body and clipped, geometric shoulders give the center a sharper profile, while the side clusters soften the transition into the band. See the diamond stone guide for more on shape, cut and proportions.

Measurements are approximate; your chosen center size sets the final diamond weight.
The long Dutch marquise shape puts more of its visual weight along the finger than a round center of similar carat weight. Its pointed ends and elongated facet pattern create a distinct north-to-south line, while the smaller side stones break up the shoulder area with shorter flashes of light.
This ring is made in silver, 10K, 14K and 18K yellow, white or rose gold, plus platinum. White metals keep the prongs and shoulder clusters visually close to the stones; yellow and rose gold create stronger contrast around the leaf details. Compare options in the metal guide. Clean beneath the open gallery and between the shoulder stones with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush.
How does the Dutch marquise differ visually from a standard marquise?
The Dutch marquise has a more geometric body through the shoulders while keeping pointed ends. In this design, the 11.87 mm length gives the center a strong vertical line across the finger.
Why is the center set above the side clusters?
The elevated setting keeps the Dutch marquise outline fully visible and leaves an open gallery beneath it. The side stones stay lower, so they frame the center instead of covering its edges.
What do the marquise and round side diamonds add?
The side diamonds create leaf-like clusters that spread outward from the center. Their approx. 0.16 ct combined weight adds detail across the shoulders without turning the design into a halo.
Will this design work with a wedding band?
The floral shoulder clusters extend close to the center setting, so a straight wedding band can leave a small gap. A contoured band follows the side profile more closely.
Which metal makes the leaf pattern easiest to see?
Yellow and rose gold create more visible contrast around the marquise-and-round clusters. White gold and platinum keep the setting visually quieter against the diamonds.
