An emerald cut lab grown diamond solitaire engagement ring from Signora Jewels.
An approximately 2.00 ct emerald cut diamond measuring 8.69 × 5.97 × 3.85 mm is secured by four double-claw prongs in an open cathedral basket.
Made to order in 11 metals: Silver, 9K/14K/18K Gold (Yellow, White and Rose) and Platinum.
Each metal color is shown in the photos. Choose your preferred center diamond weight and metal from the options on this page.
The long step facets of the emerald cut remain completely visible thanks to the fine double-claw prongs positioned at each corner. At Signora Jewels, the cathedral basket lifts the center above the band while the open gallery allows light to reach the pavilion from beneath, keeping the stone bright from every viewing angle.
The tapered comfort-fit shank measures approximately 1.85 mm wide at the base, giving the ring a balanced feel without distracting from the center diamond. The approximately 6.80 mm setting height provides a graceful profile while leaving enough clearance for easy cleaning beneath the basket.

Design highlights
The double-claw prongs define the rectangular outline without overwhelming it. Their slimmer appearance keeps attention on the crisp step facets, while the cathedral shoulders support the basket from below to create an open, balanced profile.

Measurements are approximate. Your selected center diamond weight determines the final proportions of the finished ring.
The emerald cut is known for long, parallel step facets that create broad flashes of light and emphasize clarity. Every center diamond is F color, VS1 clarity and , selected to complement the clean proportions of this solitaire.
Available in Silver, 9K, 14K and 18K Yellow, White and Rose Gold, plus Platinum. Clean beneath the open basket using warm water, mild soap and a soft brush. Inspect the double-claw prongs regularly to ensure each corner remains securely protected.
Why does this ring use double-claw prongs instead of single prongs?
Each corner is secured by two fine claw tips rather than one. This highlights the rectangular outline while adding extra protection to the corners of the emerald cut.
What does the cathedral basket do?
The cathedral shoulders support the basket from below and raise the center diamond above the band. This creates an open profile that allows light to enter beneath the stone.
Can I wear a wedding band beside this ring?
Yes. The cathedral setting allows many straight wedding bands to sit close, while contoured bands can follow the basket profile even more closely.
Which metal color suits an emerald cut best?
White gold and platinum emphasize the crisp step-cut geometry, while yellow and rose gold create a warmer frame around the emerald cut center.
