Choose Sterling Silver, 9K, 14K or 18K Yellow Gold, White Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum. Ruby and Yellow Sapphire are corundum at 9 on the Mohs scale, making them excellent for everyday wear. Emerald is softer at about 7.5–8, so clean the green option gently with mild soap and water; avoid ultrasonic or steam cleaning. Diamond accents are durable and everyday-easy.
