A marquise cut lab grown diamond Six-Prong engagement ring from Signora Jewels.
One 10.2 × 5.2 mm marquise center weighing approx. 1.00 ct, with protective pointed-end prongs and approx. 6 baguette diamonds along the shoulders totaling 0.29 ct. Approx. 1.29 ct combined.
Made to order in 11 metals: silver, 9K/14K/18K gold (yellow, white, rose) and platinum.
Choose your metal and color from the options on this page. The marquise center is fixed at approximately 1.00 ct.
The two points of a marquise need a setting that takes them seriously. Signora Jewels holds this 10.2 × 5.2 mm diamond with protective prongs at both tips, supported by four more around its curved sides. The elongated outline runs lengthwise along the finger, while the surrounding gold stays clear of the stone's broad middle.
Along the shoulders sit approximately six baguette diamonds, weighing 0.29 ct together. Their long, straight facets contrast with the center's pointed outline, stepping outward in a neat row rather than following a curved pavé pattern. The bottom band measures about 1.60 mm, with a wider 2.5–3.0 mm section where the baguettes sit.
Design highlights
The baguettes sit in individual settings instead of one continuous channel, leaving small breaks of polished metal between them. From above, the arrangement has the straight lines of an Art Deco-style band without adding a frame around the marquise. Explore our engagement rings and more diamond ring designs.
The marquise cut has two pointed ends and a long central spread, while baguette cuts reflect light through broader, step-like facets. All diamonds are lab grown, selected to F color and VS1 clarity specifications. Learn how proportions affect different shapes in our diamond and stone guide.
Choose silver, 9K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, white or rose, or platinum. The raised basket and individual baguette settings need care around fitted sleeves and gloves. Clean gently with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush, particularly beneath the marquise and around the narrow spaces between the shoulder stones. Remove the ring during heavy lifting or activities that put pressure on the prongs.
Are both pointed ends of the marquise protected?
Yes. Protective prongs secure the marquise at both tips, with four additional side prongs supporting the curved edges. This reduces direct exposure of the two points.
Are the baguette diamonds channel-set?
No. The approximately six baguette diamonds are individually secured in a linear arrangement. Small polished-metal spaces separate the settings along the upper shoulders.
Does the ring have a halo around the center?
No. The marquise center sits by itself in a Six-Prong basket. The additional diamonds are baguette cuts set along the shoulders, leaving the center outline uncovered.
Can I wear a straight wedding band beside it?
The raised center basket leaves space beneath the marquise, but the baguette settings widen the upper shoulders. A straight band can sit alongside it with some spacing, depending on the band's height and profile.
How should I clean the baguette shoulder settings?
Use warm water, mild soap and a soft brush, working along the edges of each baguette and beneath the raised center. Avoid sharp tools around the prongs and have any looseness checked promptly.
