Method 1 — Use an existing ring

Find a ring that fits the intended finger comfortably.
Place it flat and measure the inner diameter (inside edge to inside edge) in mm.

Method 2 — Wrap and measure

Wrap a thin strip of paper around the base of your finger.
Mark where it overlaps — measure that length in mm (your circumference).
Divide by 3.1416 (π) to get your diameter, then use the Measure a ring tab.

Tip: Middle finger sizes typically run half a size larger than the ring finger. If between sizes, go up. Measure in the evening — fingers are slightly larger then.

At both pointed ends of this marquise, gold prongs wrap over the narrow tips rather than leaving them exposed. Signora Jewels sets the 13.0 × 6.5 mm diamond inside a fine milgrain-edged metal outline, keeping the center clear without adding a diamond halo. The reference stone weighs 2.00 ct and runs lengthwise along the finger.

Look at the shoulders next. The band divides into two polished gold arms that open into triangular spaces beside the center before meeting again along the shank. Those openings are part of the metal construction, not empty stone settings. There's just one diamond in this ring.

About Lab Grown Diamonds

The marquise cut has a long, faceted outline tapering to two pointed ends. The narrow metal edging follows those points, while the six-prong-style support keeps much of the diamond exposed from above. Metal, Care & Fit

Choose silver, 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, white or rose, or platinum. The smooth split shoulders have no pavé settings to catch on fabric, but the raised center still requires attention around fitted sleeves. Clean the milgrain edging and open triangular spaces with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush. Remove the ring before heavy lifting or activities that place pressure on the prongs.

FAQ

Are the pointed ends of the marquise protected?
Yes. Protective metal prongs cover both pointed ends, with additional side claws holding the curved edges. The two tips remain supported within the center setting.

Does the ring have a diamond halo?
No. The narrow border around the marquise is decorative gold milgrain rather than a row of small diamonds. The 2.00 ct reference center is the only stone.

What creates the triangular openings beside the center?
The split-shank shoulders divide into polished gold arms, leaving open triangular spaces on both sides of the marquise. The arms return to a narrower single band beneath the finger.

Can I choose a larger or smaller marquise center?
Yes. The center diamond is customizable from 1 ct through 4.5 ct, including the reference 2.00 ct. The basket and shoulder junctions are made for the selected center dimensions.

How should I clean the milgrain-edged setting?
Use mild soap, warm water and a soft brush, gently cleaning along the tiny metal beads around the center outline. Rinse thoroughly and dry the open shoulder spaces with a lint-free cloth.
