Method 1 — Use an existing ring

Find a ring that fits the intended finger comfortably.
Place it flat and measure the inner diameter (inside edge to inside edge) in mm.

Method 2 — Wrap and measure

Wrap a thin strip of paper around the base of your finger.
Mark where it overlaps — measure that length in mm (your circumference).
Divide by 3.1416 (π) to get your diameter, then use the Measure a ring tab.

Tip: Middle finger sizes typically run half a size larger than the ring finger. If between sizes, go up. Measure in the evening — fingers are slightly larger then.

The goldwork curls around the diamond like two branches meeting at the center. Signora Jewels sets a 13.0 × 6.5 mm Dutch marquise above those shoulders, with protective prongs covering both pointed ends. Four additional side claws hold the wider sections, keeping the center's long faceted outline visible without a halo.

The reference center weighs approximately 2.00 ct. Along the shoulders, approximately 8–12 round brilliant diamonds total 0.09 ct, each placed between curling gold stems and small leaf shapes. The decorative metal curves cross and separate, leaving open spaces instead of a solid, wide band.

About Lab Grown Diamonds

The Dutch marquise cut has a long, pointed outline, with facets meeting along its center and tapering toward both tips. The smaller round brilliant diamonds bring pinpoints of reflected light into the filigree shoulders without surrounding the main stone. Metal, Care & Fit

Choose silver, 10K, 14K or 18K yellow, white or rose gold, or platinum. The ornate shoulders have tight spaces between the gold curls and small diamond settings. Clean with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush, working gently through those openings. The pointed-end prongs cover the narrow marquise tips, but the raised basket still needs care around gloves and fitted sleeves. Remove the ring before heavy lifting or activities that put pressure on the setting.

How are the pointed ends of the Dutch marquise protected?
Metal prongs cover both tips of the center diamond, while additional side claws secure the wider edges. The pointed ends remain supported within the raised basket.

Are the leafy shoulder decorations made from diamonds?
The leaves and curling branches are sculpted metalwork. Approximately 8–12 small round brilliant diamonds are set between selected sections, weighing 0.09 ct together.

Does this ring have a surrounding halo?
No. The marquise center is held in an open prong basket without a diamond halo. All smaller diamonds sit within the decorative shoulders.

Can I choose a different center diamond weight?
Yes. The Dutch marquise center is available from 1 ct through 4.5 ct, including the reference 2.00 ct. The basket is made to suit the selected diamond dimensions.

How should I clean the filigree without bending its small details?
Use mild soap, warm water and a soft brush, cleaning gently between the vines and around the round accent diamonds. Avoid pushing tools through the open metalwork and dry with a lint-free cloth.
