Method 1 — Use an existing ring

Find a ring that fits the intended finger comfortably.
Place it flat and measure the inner diameter (inside edge to inside edge) in mm.

Method 2 — Wrap and measure

Wrap a thin strip of paper around the base of your finger.
Mark where it overlaps — measure that length in mm (your circumference).
Divide by 3.1416 (π) to get your diameter, then use the Measure a ring tab.

Tip: Middle finger sizes typically run half a size larger than the ring finger. If between sizes, go up. Measure in the evening — fingers are slightly larger then.

The pointed side diamonds make this marquise ring different from a conventional solitaire. Signora Jewels places an 8.0 × 4.0 mm marquise center between symmetrical rows of smaller marquise cuts, so the same elongated shape repeats from the center into the shoulders. The raised basket keeps the center above the surrounding metalwork.

Approximately six side diamonds total 0.19 ct, adding to the 0.50 ct center for a combined 0.69 ct. Fine milgrain borders trace the decorative shoulder openings. The goldwork separates each pointed accent, leaving narrow spaces through the vintage-style design rather than a continuous pavé band.

The marquise cut narrows to two pointed ends, with facets that extend along the length of the stone. The matching smaller marquise diamonds repeat those pointed outlines across the shoulders. Choose silver, 10K, 14K or 18K yellow, white or rose gold, or platinum. The individually set marquise accents have pointed ends that need care around fitted sleeves and gloves. Clean gently with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush, working around the side prongs and milgrain borders. Remove the ring before heavy lifting or activities that put pressure on the raised center.

Are the side diamonds also marquise cut? Yes. Approximately six marquise cut diamonds are arranged symmetrically along the shoulders, totaling 0.19 ct.

Does this ring have a halo? No. The center is raised in a prong basket without a surrounding round-diamond halo. All accent diamonds are along the shoulders.

How wide is the decorative shoulder section? The marquise-set shoulders measure approximately 3.2–3.8 mm across, narrowing to a 2.00 mm polished lower band.

Will the pointed side diamonds catch on clothing? The marquise accents have exposed pointed ends and individual prong settings. Take care around delicate fabrics, particularly near the shoulder sections.

How should I clean the milgrain details? Use mild soap, warm water and a soft brush, working gently along the beaded borders and between the marquise settings. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry.
