Made to order — the price updates with your selection. Change the center proportion or band width through our custom jewelry service.
Signora Jewels sets the 12.00 × 6.00 mm marquise across a substantial polished band, leaving the diamond as the only point of light. Six prongs hold the stone, with one at each pointed tip and four along the curved sides.
The shoulders rise toward the basket and narrow beneath the center, so the long outline stays visible instead of sinking into the metal. The broad shank has enough weight to steady the two-carat stone on the finger.
No pavé to catch lotion or collect dirt. From across the room, you see the marquise first; up close, the smooth band gives the setting its clean frame.
Design highlights
The wide band is the defining detail. It balances the length of the marquise and gives the ring a firmer feel than a fine-shank solitaire without covering the stone’s pointed outline.

Measurements and weights are approximate. The basket and metal weight scale with the center size selected.
A marquise cut stretches brilliant-style faceting into a pointed outline, giving it one of the largest face-up appearances for its carat weight. The six-prong basket protects both tips while leaving the curved sides open to light.
Lab grown diamonds have the same carbon crystal structure, hardness and optical properties as mined diamonds. They are graded using the same cut, color, clarity and carat standards.
Choose silver, 9K/14K/18K gold in yellow, white or rose, or platinum. 9K has more strengthening alloy for daily wear, while 18K has higher gold content and richer color; compare them in the metal guide.
Order in your known US size. This band is wider than a fine solitaire shank, so a close measurement matters; use the ring size and fit guide. Clean with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush, paying attention beneath the basket.
Can I choose another center diamond size?
Yes. The marquise center is available from 1 to 4.5 ct, and the basket and metal weight scale to the selected carat. The photographed configuration uses an approx. 2.00 ct center measuring 12.00 × 6.00 mm.
Are there any side or pavé diamonds?
No. This is a single-diamond solitaire with no accent stones, halo or pavé. The full diamond weight comes from the marquise center selected.
How are the pointed ends of the marquise protected?
Each pointed tip is covered by its own prong, with four additional prongs securing the curved sides. This six-prong arrangement guards the most vulnerable parts of the cut.
How does the wide band feel compared with a thin band?
The wide band feels firmer and distributes the ring’s weight across more of the finger. It also steadies the elongated center better than a very fine shank.
Will a wedding band sit beside this ring?
A straight wedding band sits close to the raised basket, with the final gap determined by the wedding band’s height. A contoured band follows the basket most closely.
What is the difference between 9K and 18K gold?
9K gold contains more strengthening alloy and has a harder surface, while 18K contains more gold and carries richer color. Both are solid gold choices for daily ring wear.
How do lab grown diamonds compare with mined diamonds?
Lab grown diamonds match mined diamonds in carbon structure, hardness and optical behavior; their origin is different. Signora Jewels supplies this ring only with Lab Grown Diamond stones.
