Method 1 — Use an existing ring

Find a ring that fits the intended finger comfortably.
Place it flat and measure the inner diameter (inside edge to inside edge) in mm.
Enter that measurement in the Measure a ring tab.

Method 2 — Wrap and measure

Wrap a thin strip of paper around the base of your finger.
Mark where it overlaps — measure that length in mm (your circumference).
Divide by 3.1416 (π) to get your diameter, then use the Measure a ring tab.

Tip: Middle finger sizes typically run half a size larger than the ring finger. If between sizes, go up. Measure in the evening — fingers are slightly larger then.

Signora Jewels places a 15.0 × 7.3 mm marquise between two outward-pointing pear diamonds in this three-stone engagement ring. V-shaped guards cover both marquise tips, while smaller round diamonds follow its long edges in a single pavé halo.

The two pears contribute approximately 1.40 ct. Another 34–40 rounds add 0.38 ct around the center and adjoining head. The polished lower shank measures approximately 2.50 mm wide.

FAQ

What protects the two pointed ends of the marquise?
V-shaped metal guards cover both points of the 15.0 mm reference marquise. Additional claws grip its curved sides, keeping the pointed ends supported within the halo.

Does the halo surround the pear side diamonds too?
No. The pavé halo follows the marquise center, while the two pears sit outside it in separate prong settings. Their pointed ends face outward toward the shoulders.

How is the 4.78 ct diamond weight divided?
The reference marquise weighs 3.00 ct, the pear pair totals 1.40 ct, and the round accents contribute 0.38 ct. Together, these groups contain approximately 37–43 diamonds.

Will a straight wedding band sit flush beside the pear settings?
The reference setting stands approximately 8.0–8.5 mm high, while the side-stone section spans 5.0–6.0 mm. Those measurements do not establish clearance beside the pear prongs, so check the finished setting with the intended band.

How should I clean the halo and separate pear settings?
Use warm water, mild soap and a soft brush around the marquise end guards, the small halo diamonds and both pear baskets. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry without pulling fabric through the prongs.
