What length necklace should I get — 16 or 18 inches?
18 inches is the universal sweet spot for a pendant necklace — it sits just below the collarbone, suits most necklines, and carries a pendant well. Choose 16 inches if you’re petite or want the pendant at the collarbone with higher necklines. Check each Signora Jewels listing for the chain lengths offered on that design.
How do I layer necklaces without tangling?
Keep about 1.5–2 inches between each chain — the classic stack is 16, 18, and 20 inches — so pendants sit in separate tiers instead of overlapping and tangling. Combine one pendant with plainer chains, and fasten each necklace separately when putting them on. Signora Jewels pendants ordered in different lengths pair naturally for layering.
What is the strongest chain type for a pendant?
Box and wheat chains are the strongest everyday choices for carrying a pendant, while very thin cable chains are the most fragile style. Whatever the design, the chain should be proportionate to the pendant’s weight. Each Signora Jewels pendant listing states its chain style, so you can match strength to how often you plan to wear it.
Can I shower or sleep with my necklace on?
Best to take it off. Water won’t damage lab-grown diamonds or gold, but soap builds a film that dulls the stone, and sleeping in a necklace stresses the clasp and tangles in hair — the two most common ways pendants are lost. Remove it at night and in the shower, and clean it occasionally following our care guide.
Are lab-grown diamond pendants certified?
Yes — Signora Jewels’ lab-grown diamond pendants use IGI-graded stones, and IGI is the industry-standard laboratory for lab-grown diamonds, grading the majority worldwide. Moissanite pieces come with GRA certification instead. Your certificate documents the stone’s specifications, and together with your invoice it is what US insurers ask for when you insure the piece.
