An oval-cut lab grown diamond halo engagement ring with a scalloped outline from Signora Jewels.
The 1.00 ct oval measures approximately 7.8 × 5.5 mm, surrounded by an estimated 18 round halo diamonds and 18 round shoulder diamonds. Approximately 1.29 ct total.
Made to order in 11 metals: silver, 9K/14K/18K gold (yellow, white, rose) and platinum.
Choose your preferred metal and color from the options on this page.
At Signora Jewels, we set the 7.8 × 5.5 mm oval inside a halo of individually prong-set round diamonds. Each small stone projects slightly beyond the next, giving the outer edge its scalloped outline rather than a continuous metal rim.
The halo carries approximately 0.17 ct, while the pavé shoulders add another 0.12 ct. The lower band narrows to approximately 1.60 mm, leaving the raised oval head wider than the diamond-set shank.
Design highlights
Look at the top and bottom of the halo: the round diamonds extend beyond the oval's ends, forming a separate scalloped border around the center. The reference setting rises approximately 6.0–6.5 mm above the band.
The oval center has an elongated brilliant-cut face. Smaller round brilliant diamonds follow its perimeter and continue along the narrow shoulders, creating approximately 0.29 ct of accent diamonds around the 1.00 ct center.
Choose silver, yellow gold, white gold, rose gold or platinum. Compare the metal options before selecting your finish. The lower shank measures approximately 1.60 mm wide and 1.50 mm thick, with a raised halo head above it.
For cleaning and care, use warm water, mild soap and a soft brush. Clean between the individual halo prongs and along the pavé shoulders without forcing the bristles beneath the settings. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a lint-free cloth.
Why does this oval halo have a scalloped outer edge?
The round brilliant halo diamonds are individually prong-set around the 7.8 × 5.5 mm oval center. Each round outline remains visible beyond the neighboring stones, forming the scalloped border rather than a smooth metal rim.
How many diamonds are in the halo and shoulders?
The reference estimate uses 18 halo diamonds totaling approximately 0.17 ct and 18 shoulder diamonds totaling approximately 0.12 ct. Including the 1.00 ct oval center, that gives an estimated 37 diamonds weighing approximately 1.29 ct.
Will this halo ring sit flush beside a straight wedding band?
The reference halo setting stands approximately 6.0–6.5 mm high above the band. A flush fit depends on the finished gallery clearance and the wedding band's height, especially where the scalloped halo extends over the narrow shoulders.
Which metal works well with the scalloped diamond halo?
White gold and platinum give the individually prong-set round diamonds a white-metal frame, while yellow and rose gold create a warmer border around the scalloped edge. The halo layout remains the same across the available metal options.
How should I clean the spaces between the halo diamonds?
Use mild soap, warm water and a soft brush around the individually prong-set round diamonds. Brush gently between the scalloped halo settings and along the pavé shoulders, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
