At Signora Jewels, we set the 7.84 × 5.35 mm oval within a halo of 14 round diamonds and two slim baguettes. Those baguettes sit opposite each other beside the oval, giving the halo two straight sections against the center's curved outline.
Another 18 round diamonds continue down the shoulders. The halo contributes approximately 0.30 ct, and the pavé shoulders add 0.18 ct. Four rounded prongs hold the 1.01 ct center above the surrounding diamonds.
The polished band measures approximately 2.00 mm at its base, while the reference setting rises approximately 6.2–6.8 mm. Browse our halo engagement rings or compare metals for this setting.
Design highlights
The baguette pair interrupts the ring of round diamonds at the oval's widest points. It is a small detail that changes the whole outline of this halo.
The oval cut has an elongated face with no pointed corners. Here, the contrast comes from the straight baguette facets beside the center and the smaller round brilliant diamonds curving around it. All 35 stones are lab grown diamonds.
This ring is made to order in silver, yellow gold, white gold, rose gold and platinum. The raised halo sits above a band approximately 2.00 mm wide at its base. A wedding band needs adequate clearance beside the halo head to sit flush.
For cleaning and care, use warm water, mild soap and a soft brush. Work gently between the baguette settings, around the round halo diamonds and beneath the pavé shoulders. Rinse well and dry with a lint-free cloth.
What makes the baguette accents different from a standard round diamond halo?
Two baguette diamonds sit opposite each other beside the oval center, while 14 round diamonds complete the halo. Their straight edges interrupt the curved outline of the rounds and draw attention across the width of the center.
How many diamonds are in this engagement ring?
There are 35 diamonds in total: one 1.01 ct oval center, two baguette halo diamonds, 14 round halo diamonds and 18 round shoulder diamonds. The combined reference weight is approximately 1.49 ct.
Will this oval halo ring sit flush against a straight wedding band?
The halo sits in a raised setting approximately 6.2–6.8 mm high at the reference configuration. A straight wedding band needs clearance beside the halo head; a contoured band can follow the setting more closely.
Is this ring practical for everyday wear?
The center is held by four prongs, with smaller diamonds secured around the halo and shoulders. The raised head and pavé settings need protection from heavy impacts, especially during gym workouts and hands-on activities.
How should I clean the baguette and pavé diamond settings?
Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush are suitable for cleaning around the two baguettes and 32 round accent diamonds. Brush gently around the small prongs, rinse thoroughly and inspect the settings periodically for loose stones.
