Signora Jewels sets the 10.40 × 7.15 mm oval above symmetrical engagement ring shoulders built from marquise and round diamonds. The marquise stones sit closest to the center, stretching the design sideways, while smaller rounds continue the cluster toward the polished lower shank.
The Four-Prong basket rises approximately 6.5–7.0 mm and stays open beneath the oval. At the base, the band measures about 1.60 mm wide and 1.60 mm thick, keeping the lower shank fine beneath the broader diamond-set shoulders.
Design highlights
The marquise side stones create the first step away from the oval, then the round accents reduce the scale again toward the band. That graduated change keeps the center dominant while giving the shoulders more presence than a plain solitaire.

Measurements are approximate; your selected center weight sets the final diamond dimensions and total weight.
The oval center spreads its visual weight along the finger, while the marquise and round side stones break the shoulder line into two different facet patterns. Read more about shape and proportion in the diamond stone guide.
White gold and platinum keep the prongs visually close to the diamonds; yellow and rose gold create stronger contrast around the side clusters. Compare choices in the metal guide. Clean beneath the open basket and around the clustered shoulder settings with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush.
What do the marquise side diamonds do in this oval design?
The marquise side diamonds total approximately 0.21 ct and sit closest to the oval center. Their pointed outlines extend the setting sideways before the smaller round accents carry it into the band.
How much total accent diamond weight is in the shoulders?
The complete accent setting totals approximately 0.40 ct. That includes approx. 0.21 ct of marquise diamonds and 0.19 ct of round accents.
How is the oval center held?
The reference center sits in a Four-Prong setting. The open basket keeps most of the 10.40 × 7.15 mm oval visible while lifting it clear of the shoulder clusters.
How high does the center sit?
The reference setting rises approximately 6.5–7.0 mm. That leaves open space beneath the oval and separates it clearly from the side stones.
How should the clustered shoulder diamonds be cleaned?
Use a soft brush around the marquise settings, between the smaller round accents and beneath the center basket. Those tight junctions collect more residue than the polished lower shank.
