Method 1 — Use an existing ring

Find a ring that fits the intended finger comfortably.
Place it flat and measure the inner diameter (inside edge to inside edge) in mm.
Enter that measurement in the Measure a ring tab.

Method 2 — Wrap and measure

Wrap a thin strip of paper around the base of your finger.
Mark where it overlaps — measure that length in mm (your circumference).
Divide by 3.1416 (π) to get your diameter, then use the Measure a ring tab.

Tip: Middle finger sizes typically run half a size larger than the ring finger. If between sizes, go up. Measure in the evening — fingers are slightly larger then.

Signora Jewels sets the 11.00 × 8.00 mm oval in six prongs, with support placed around the long outline rather than across its face. Two marquise diamonds sit on each side, following the curve of the shoulders as the upper rails cross beneath the center.

Thirty 1.00 mm rounds run through the U-cut sections beside the marquise stones. They catch light lower on the ring, while the four pointed side stones bridge the broad oval into the narrower band. The lower shank stays plain, so the palm side has no exposed stone edges.

The crossover is doing practical work here. One rail rises toward each marquise pair while the second curves beneath it, spreading the 3 ct center across the finger without making the lower shank thick.
