Signora Jewels sets the 8.25 × 5.75 mm oval inside a scalloped halo with fine milgrain running around the outer edge. Round diamonds follow the antique-shaped frame while the twisted rope-style shank stays free of pavé, keeping the detail concentrated around the center.
The setting rises approximately 6.0–6.5 mm above the finger. At the base, the shank measures about 1.80 mm wide and 1.50 mm thick, giving the ring a light lower profile beneath the wider halo.
Design highlights
The halo does more than add sparkle. Its scalloped outline pushes beyond the oval at the top, bottom and sides, giving the center a larger face-up presence while the milgrain edge keeps each curve sharply defined.
The oval center carries more visual length than a round diamond of similar weight, while the smaller halo stones build a brighter border around that elongated outline. Read more about cut and proportion in the diamond stone guide.
Yellow and rose gold make the scalloped frame and rope shank easier to distinguish; white gold and platinum keep the halo visually closer to the diamonds. Compare choices in the metal guide. Clean beneath the raised halo and around the milgrain edge with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush.
What makes this halo different from a plain oval halo?
The halo has a scalloped antique-inspired outline instead of one smooth oval border. Fine milgrain follows the outer edge and makes each curve easier to see.
How much diamond weight is in the halo?
The round halo diamonds total approximately 0.14 ct. Together with the 1.00 ct oval center, the ring carries approximately 1.14 ct total diamond weight.
How high does the oval center sit?
The setting rises approximately 6.0–6.5 mm. That gives the halo a raised profile while leaving access underneath for cleaning.
What does the twisted shank add to the design?
The rope-style shank adds texture without another row of diamonds. It keeps the lower band visually lighter than the scalloped halo above it.
How should the milgrain halo be cleaned?
Use a soft brush around the scalloped edge and underneath the raised setting. The fine recesses beside the milgrain hold more residue than the polished shank.
