A pear cut lab grown diamond halo engagement ring from Signora Jewels.
A 9.10 × 5.65 mm pear center weighing approx. 1.00 ct, framed by a scalloped halo of approx. 21 round diamonds and pavé shoulders with approx. 19 more. Approx. 1.42 ct total.
Made to order in 11 metals: silver, 9K/14K/18K gold (yellow, white, rose) and platinum.
Choose your metal and color from the options on this page. The center diamond is fixed at approximately 1.00 ct.
The little round diamonds above the pear's tip are the first thing you'll notice. Instead of a tight, straight-edged frame, the halo follows a scalloped outline that rises into a floral-looking point. Signora Jewels sets a 9.10 × 5.65 mm pear diamond inside that border, with prongs supporting the center and its narrower tip.
The halo carries approximately 21 round diamonds, totaling 0.25 ct. Another 19 run down the shoulders for an estimated 0.17 ct, so the sparkle continues beyond the central setting instead of stopping at the halo. The lower shank is just 1.60 mm wide, leaving the pear-shaped head as the main focus.
Design highlights
From the side, the center basket sits approximately 6.5–7.0 mm high, leaving an open space beneath the pear. The delicate pavé shoulders measure approximately 1.75–1.90 mm across, and the pointed halo is wider than the band. See more halo engagement rings and our engagement ring collection.
The center's pear cut combines a rounded end and a pointed tip, while the surrounding round brilliant diamonds create a closely spaced border of smaller reflections. The diamonds are lab grown and selected to F color and VS1 clarity specifications. Our diamond and stone guide explains how cut and proportions affect their appearance.
Choose silver, 9K, 14K or 18K yellow, white or rose gold, or platinum. The raised pear basket and scalloped halo require care around knitwear and gloves, particularly at the pointed end. Clean gently with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush, paying attention to the spaces between halo stones and along the pavé shoulders. Remove the ring before heavy lifting.
Is the pointed end of the pear diamond protected?
Yes. The center setting includes protective support at the pear tip, where the stone is more vulnerable to a direct impact. Avoid knocking the pointed end against hard surfaces.
Is this a regular round halo?
No. The halo follows the pear outline with a scalloped, floral-style arrangement of round diamonds. Its pointed upper section extends beyond the center diamond's tip.
Are there diamonds along the band?
Yes. Approximately 19 round brilliant diamonds, totaling 0.17 ct, run along the pavé shoulders. The lower portion of the 1.60 mm shank remains polished metal.
Can I stack this with a straight wedding band?
The raised pear head and scalloped halo can leave a small gap against a straight wedding band. A shaped band is better suited to following the halo's pointed outline.
How do I clean the small diamonds around the pear?
Use warm water, mild soap and a soft brush, working gently between the approximately 21 halo stones and along the 19 shoulder stones. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a lint-free cloth.
