Method 1 — Use an existing ring

Find a ring that fits the intended finger comfortably.
Place it flat and measure the inner diameter (inside edge to inside edge) in mm.

Method 2 — Wrap and measure

Wrap a thin strip of paper around the base of your finger.
Mark where it overlaps — measure that length in mm (your circumference).
Divide by 3.1416 (π) to get your diameter, then use the Measure a ring tab.

Tip: Middle finger sizes typically run half a size larger than the ring finger. If between sizes, go up. Measure in the evening — fingers are slightly larger then.

This pear Lab Grown Diamond engagement ring from Signora Jewels builds the halo stone by stone rather than holding one uniform border. The 9.85 × 6.60 mm center sits inside rounds that grow toward the lower point, ending in a single 2.90 mm diamond beneath the pear.

Smaller rounds tighten around the upper curve, while 1.20 mm pavé continues down the shoulders. That graduation pulls the eye along the pear instead of widening every part of the halo equally. About Lab Grown Diamonds

A pear brilliant carries round-style fire into a tapered outline that lengthens the finger. The graduated round halo follows that outline with smaller flashes above and a stronger point of light below.
