Signora Jewels sets the 6.15 mm Portuguese cut above shoulders shaped like overlapping leaves. The shank divides as it approaches the center, with small round diamonds tucked between the textured vine sections instead of running in a straight pavé row. See more engagement rings.
The Four-Prong basket rises approximately 6.0–6.5 mm and leaves the gallery open beneath the center. At the base, the band measures about 1.70 mm wide and 1.80 mm thick, while the botanical shoulders widen to roughly 4.5–5.5 mm beside the diamond.
Design highlights
The shoulder work gives the ring its character. Leaf-like metal sections overlap around the center while the small round accents add isolated flashes between them, leaving the Portuguese cut clearly separated from the decorative band.
The Portuguese cut uses a dense facet pattern across a round outline, so the 6.15 mm center breaks light into many smaller reflections. Read more about diamond cuts and proportions in the diamond stone guide.
White gold and platinum keep the prongs visually close to the center, while yellow and rose gold make the sculpted leaves easier to distinguish. Compare choices in the metal guide. Clean beneath the open gallery and between the leaf details with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush.
What makes the Portuguese cut different on this ring?
The 6.15 mm center uses a denser facet arrangement than a standard round brilliant. That gives the face a busier pattern of small reflections while keeping a circular outline.
How much diamond weight is set into the shoulders?
The round shoulder accents total approximately 0.06 ct. They sit within the botanical metalwork rather than forming one continuous diamond row.
What does the Split Shank do for this design?
The upper band separates as it approaches the center, creating open space around the Four-Prong basket. That lets the leaf-and-vine structure frame the diamond without crowding it.
Will this ring stack with a wedding band?
The raised botanical gallery can leave a slight gap beside a straight band. A gently contoured band follows the center setting more closely.
How should the leaf-and-vine shoulders be cleaned?
Use a soft brush between the overlapping metal sections and underneath the center basket. Those recessed spaces collect more residue than the polished lower shank.
