A princess cut lab grown diamond cathedral engagement ring from Signora Jewels.
A 1.00 ct, 5.45 × 5.45 mm princess center is framed by pear side diamonds and round pavé accents totaling approx. 0.56 ct. Approx. 1.56 ct total.

Signora Jewels sets the square 5.45 mm princess center between pear-shaped side diamonds, then carries smaller rounds along the rising cathedral shoulders. The pears soften the transition from the sharp princess corners into the band, while the pavé continues the light farther down each side.
The Four-Prong basket sits approximately 6.0–6.5 mm high above an open geometric gallery. At the base, the shank measures about 1.80 mm wide and 1.80 mm thick, giving the lower band enough substance beneath the diamond-set upper shoulders.
Design highlights
The pear side stones create a clear step between the square center and the pavé band. Their pointed ends face outward into the shoulders, so the transition gets narrower as it approaches the shank rather than ending abruptly beside the princess.
The princess cut uses a square outline with pointed corners and a brilliant-style facet pattern, while the pear and round accents introduce softer outlines beside it. Read more about shape and proportion in the diamond stone guide.
White gold and platinum keep the prongs and pavé visually close to the diamonds; yellow and rose gold create stronger contrast around the pear side stones and cathedral shoulders. Compare choices in the metal guide. Clean beneath the open gallery and around the side settings with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush.
How are the princess cut corners protected in this setting?
The 5.45 × 5.45 mm center is held by four prongs positioned at its corners. Those prongs secure the most exposed points while leaving most of the square face visible.
What do the pear side diamonds add to this ring?
The pear side diamonds total approximately 0.38 ct and sit directly beside the princess center. Their tapered outlines soften the transition from the square center into the narrower shoulders.
How much diamond weight is in the pavé shoulders?
The round pavé accents total approximately 0.18 ct. Together with the pear side stones, the complete accent setting weighs approximately 0.56 ct.
How high does the center sit?
The setting rises approximately 6.0–6.5 mm. The open geometric gallery lifts the princess above the cathedral shoulders and leaves access beneath it for cleaning.
Will this design work beside a wedding band?
The raised cathedral shoulders can leave a slight gap beside a straight band. A gently contoured band follows the center setting more closely.
