Method 1 — Use an existing ring

Find a ring that fits the intended finger comfortably.
Place it flat and measure the inner diameter (inside edge to inside edge) in mm.
Enter that measurement in the Measure a ring tab.

Method 2 — Wrap and measure

Wrap a thin strip of paper around the base of your finger.
Mark where it overlaps — measure that length in mm (your circumference).
Divide by 3.1416 (π) to get your diameter, then use the Measure a ring tab.

Tip: Middle finger sizes typically run half a size larger than the ring finger. If between sizes, go up. Measure in the evening — fingers are slightly larger then.

Signora Jewels sets the 5.54 × 5.54 mm princess diamond above a plain tapered band, with one prong guarding each pointed corner. The shoulders narrow as they meet the basket, keeping the square outline visible instead of burying it in metal.

The open side profile leaves space beneath the pavilion for light and cleaning. There are no pavé stones or raised shoulder settings to catch against a sleeve.

From above, the straight sides read cleanly against the polished band. From the side, the basket lifts the diamond enough for a wedding band to sit close beneath the head.

The tapered shoulders are the defining detail. They give the center a firm visual base, then pull back near the diamond so its straight sides and pointed corners remain clear.

About Lab Grown Diamonds

A princess cut uses brilliant-style faceting inside a square outline, producing tight flashes through the center and toward the corners. The four-prong basket protects those corners while leaving the straight edges visible.

Lab grown diamonds have the same carbon crystal structure, hardness and optical properties as mined diamonds. They are graded using the same cut, color, clarity and carat standards.

Metal, Care & Fit

Choose silver, 9K/14K/18K gold in yellow, white or rose, or platinum. 9K contains more strengthening alloy, while 18K contains more gold and has richer color; compare the choices in the metal guide.

Order in your known size. The plain lower shank makes future resizing more straightforward than a fully pavé band; use the ring size and fit guide. Clean beneath the basket with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush, then rinse and pat dry.

Is the center diamond included?
Yes. The ring includes one fixed approx. 1.00 ct princess Lab Grown Diamond measuring 5.54 × 5.54 mm. The center carat is not a variant on this design.

Are there any accent or pavé diamonds?
No. This is a single-diamond solitaire with no halo, side stones or pavé. The full diamond weight comes from the princess-cut center.

How are the corners of the princess diamond protected?
Each pointed corner sits beneath its own prong. The four-prong arrangement protects the most vulnerable parts of the cut while leaving the straight sides open.

Will a wedding band sit beside this ring?
A straight wedding band sits close beneath the raised basket. The final gap depends on the wedding band’s height, while a gently contoured band follows the head most closely.

What is the difference between a prong setting and a bezel setting?
A prong setting exposes more of the diamond’s sides, while a bezel surrounds the stone with a continuous metal rim. This ring uses four prongs to keep the princess outline visible.

What is the difference between 9K and 18K gold?
9K gold has more strengthening alloy and a harder surface, while 18K contains more gold and has richer color. Both are solid gold choices for an engagement ring.

How does a princess cut compare with a round diamond?
A princess cut has a square outline and pointed corners, while a round diamond has a circular edge and a more even face-up light pattern. The princess cut gives this ring sharper geometry against the plain band.
