At a glance

A round lab grown diamond split shank engagement ring from Signora Jewels.

A 0.80 ct, 6.00 mm round brilliant sits in a Four-Prong setting above open vine-style shoulders. Approx. 0.80 ct total.

Made to order in 11 metals: silver, 10K/14K/18K gold (yellow, white, rose) and platinum.

Each metal color is shown in the photos. Choose your metal in the options on this page.

Signora Jewels keeps this engagement ring centered on one 6.00 mm round brilliant. Four prongs hold the diamond above shoulders that divide into flowing, branch-like strips of polished metal. There are no accent diamonds competing with the center; the detail comes entirely from the open metalwork.

The lower shank measures about 1.60 mm wide and 1.70 mm thick, then opens to roughly 4.5–5.5 mm through the shoulders. The setting stands about 5.5–6.0 mm high, giving the round center clear separation from the sculpted vines.

Design highlights

  • 0.80 ct round brilliant center diamond
  • Center measures approx. 6.00 mm diameter
  • Four-Prong center setting
  • No side or accent diamonds
  • Open Split Shank with sculpted vine and leaf metalwork
  • Slim polished lower shank, approx. 1.60 mm wide

The shoulder work is what distinguishes this solitaire. Multiple polished strands separate beside the center and reconnect toward the lower shank, creating depth without adding more stones.

About Lab Grown Diamonds

A 6.00 mm round brilliant concentrates light into a compact circular face, while the open shoulder structure leaves the diamond visually unobstructed. Read more about round proportions and cut in the diamond stone guide.

Metal, Care & Fit

White gold and platinum keep the Four-Prong setting visually close to the diamond; yellow and rose gold make the branching shoulders easier to see. Compare all options in the metal guide. Clean beneath the center and through the open shoulder spaces with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush.

FAQ

Does this ring have diamonds in the split shoulders?
No. The 0.80 ct round center is the only diamond; the vine and leaf effect is created entirely with sculpted metal.

How high does the round diamond sit?
The center setting is approximately 5.5–6.0 mm high. That gives the 6.00 mm diamond visible clearance above the open shoulder structure.

What does the Split Shank do on this design?
The shoulders divide into several flowing metal lines before meeting the center setting. Those openings add visual width near the diamond without making the lower band wider.

Which metal shows the vine detail most clearly?
Yellow and rose gold create stronger contrast around the open shoulder pattern. White gold and platinum make the setting and diamond read as a more continuous bright surface.

How should the open shoulders be cleaned?
Use a soft brush through the spaces between the sculpted metal strands and beneath the center basket. Those narrow openings collect more residue than the plain lower shank.
