This round Lab Grown Diamond engagement ring from Signora Jewels lifts a 6.80 mm center between six evenly spaced prongs. The shoulders rise into the basket from both sides, supporting the head without adding diamonds or extra metal around the stone.
From above, the setting nearly disappears behind the round outline. Turn the ring sideways and the cathedral arches become clear, leaving an open space beneath the diamond for light and cleaning. The head stands about 6.80 mm above the finger, while the narrow 1.48 mm base keeps the shank light in the hand. Learn how round diamonds are cut in the diamond and stone guide.
Design highlights
The six-prong spacing is the detail to notice. It breaks the metal into small, even points around the diamond, so the round edge remains visible instead of reading as a heavy crown.
A round brilliant is cut with 57–58 facets arranged to return light toward the eye. Its circular outline keeps the sparkle even as the hand turns and hides small inclusions better than step-cut shapes.
Every diamond in this ring is lab grown, with the same carbon crystal structure, hardness and optical properties as a mined diamond. It is assessed using the same cut, color, clarity and carat standards.
Sterling silver is bright and accessible. 9K, 14K and 18K gold increase in gold content and color richness, while platinum is naturally white and dense. Gold is available in yellow, white and rose.
Order in your known size or use the ring size and fit guide. Clean beneath the open basket with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush. Have all six prongs checked during routine professional inspections.
Is the 1.17 ct center diamond included?
Yes, the price includes the approx. 1.17 ct round Lab Grown Diamond shown in the design. This is a fixed solitaire ring with no separate carat-selection option.
How large is the round diamond?
The center measures approximately 6.80 mm across and weighs about 1.17 ct. Its circular outline gives an even face-up spread from every viewing angle.
How high does the ring sit?
The setting rises approximately 6.80 mm from the finger. The open cathedral profile leaves space beneath the diamond for light and access during cleaning.
What does a cathedral setting do?
A cathedral setting raises the shoulders of the band so they meet and support the center basket. On this ring, the arches are visible from the side while the top view remains a plain solitaire.
Is a six-prong setting more secure than a four-prong setting?
A six-prong setting places two more contact points around the diamond than a four-prong setting. It covers slightly more of the edge but distributes support more evenly around the round center.
What is the difference between 9K and 18K gold?
9K gold contains less pure gold and is harder for frequent wear, while 18K has richer color and higher gold content. Both are solid gold and come in yellow, white and rose.
Can the center size or setting be changed?
Yes, Signora Jewels can adjust the diamond size, basket height, prong count or metal through the bespoke service. The listed version remains fixed at approximately 1.17 ct.
