Choosing a bracelet that fits

Measure the wrist, then add room

Wrap a soft tape — or a strip of paper you then lay against a ruler — snugly around the wrist just below the wrist bone. Add about half an inch for a tailored fit or a full inch for a relaxed drape. Bracelet product pages on our site include a wrist calculator that does the arithmetic for you. Because every piece is made to order, measuring twice before you order beats guessing every time.

Tennis bracelets: drape and the clasp habit

A tennis bracelet is a line of individually set stones on flexible links, so it should curve softly with the wrist rather than stand away from it — that drape is what you are paying for. Build one habit from day one: close the clasp, then engage the safety catch, every single time you put it on. Check both again before washing your hands away from home. A minute of habit protects an entire line of stones.

Layering and everyday care

Stacks work when weights are matched — pair a stone-set line with a plain chain of similar gauge so neither grinds against the other. Take bracelets off for the gym, the garden, and heavy lifting; a wrist takes more knocks than any finger does. A weekly pass with a dry cloth keeps metal bright, and each bracelet should live in its own pouch so clasps and links never tangle.

Bracelet questions, answered

I am between sizes — should I size up or down?

Size up. A slightly relaxed bracelet turns and drapes gracefully, while a tight one creases the skin and strains the clasp. Use the wrist calculator on the product page, and if two sizes still feel close, take the longer one.

How do I keep the clasp secure?

Make fastening a two-step habit: close the clasp fully, then engage the safety catch before your hand leaves the wrist. If a clasp ever loosens after years of wear, have a local jeweler tighten it promptly — it is a small, routine repair.

Is a diamond bracelet suitable for daily wear?

Yes, with a few habits. Signora bracelets are solid precious metal — 925 sterling silver, solid gold, or platinum — never plated, never filled, so the metal itself is built for daily life. Remove the bracelet for workouts and sleep, keep it clear of lotions and perfume, and daily wear will suit it well.

How long does a made-to-order bracelet take?

Expect about 14 days door to door, since crafting begins when your order is placed. Shipping is free by insured express on orders over $500, and orders to the US, UK, and Canada arrive with duties and taxes already paid.

What is the return window on bracelets?

You have 30 days to return or exchange a standard design, and Signora covers the return shipping for the US, UK, and Canada. Fully custom bespoke pieces cannot be returned, so settle sizing questions before crafting begins.

Care & Composition

Clear information about materials, finishing, fit and everyday care — before you choose your piece.

  • Solid precious metals

Solid materials

Every Signora piece is made in solid precious metal — never plated or filled. Available options can include 925 sterling silver, 9K, 14K or 18K yellow, white or rose gold, and Pt950 platinum. Stone and certification details are listed on each product page.

Hand finishing

Each order is finished by hand in our family workshop in Surat. White gold is palladium-based, nickel-free and rhodium-finished; yellow and rose gold are polished to their natural warmth; platinum develops a soft patina with wear.

Everyday care

Wipe your piece after wear and store it separately in its pouch or box. Remove jewelry before swimming, showering, exercise or contact with lotions and cleaning products. For deeper cleaning, use lukewarm water, mild soap and a very soft brush; ask a jeweler to check stone settings periodically.

Sizing & Fit

Ring sizes and bracelet, necklace or chain lengths vary by design, so confirm the options on the product page before checkout. Because every piece is made to order, contact Client Care before ordering if you need a custom size or are unsure about fit.
