What Is Lab-Grown Diamond Jewelry?
A lab-grown diamond is a real diamond — the same crystal structure and hardness as a mined stone. Its origin differs: it is grown in a controlled facility, then cut and polished like any fine diamond. The exact product or approved order record is the source of truth for any independent documentation.
Each piece is made to order in our family workshop in Surat, India — the city that cuts and polishes most of the world's diamonds. Choose your metal, carat and size; we craft it in solid gold, platinum or sterling silver and ship it insured to your door. For every destination available at checkout, Signora prepays applicable import duties and import taxes. Customers should not be asked to pay those import charges again on delivery.

Are lab-grown diamonds real diamonds?
Yes. Lab-grown diamonds have the same chemical, physical, and optical properties as mined diamonds; their production origin differs.
What documentation comes with my piece?
Every finished piece includes a Signora Jewelry Certificate. Each approved individual lab-grown center or primary diamond of 0.50 ct or more also includes an IGI grading report. For smaller diamonds, accent stones and other stone types, the product page or approved specification states any additional documentation and its scope. How long does a made-to-order piece take?
Each piece is crafted to order in our Surat atelier. Check the product page or order confirmation for the current dispatch estimate; delivery after dispatch depends on destination.

What metals can I choose?
Solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, white or rose, Platinum Pt950, or Sterling Silver 925 — never vermeil or plating. See the metal guide to compare.
What if my ring is not right?
Eligible standard designs may be returned within 30 days. Contact us first: return-shipping instructions and any label or cost responsibility are confirmed in the written return authorization. Fully custom and made-to-spec pieces follow their quoted terms. Suspected manufacturing defects can be reviewed under the written policy.
